Welcome to The Stone Turntable!!

[Explicit Rating/NSFW]

This week our hosts all return to the studio to discuss their favorite movie Soundtracks and invited a special guest in the studio to share their pick as well!

We used as many quackers as we could this week in post-production. We tried. ;D

Discussions ranged from influential music of the 1950’s to 1970’s to current and covered a decent range of film genres. Click “Play” and find out what we discussed this week, then go to our Twitter page and let us know what your favorite movie soundtracks are!!

Welcome to The Stone Turntable!!

This week we peek inside Scrooge McDuck’s vault and explore some Disney films for this “Movie Roulette” episode!

Sean couldn’t be with us this week to explore Flight of the Navigator (1986) or The Black Cauldron (1985), but we take the plunge anyway and discuss these two films from the mid-1980’s.

Join us as we discuss the merits of each film and discuss visual as well as developmental elements of each film and see how they measure up (even) today.

Welcome to The Stone Turntable!

(Explicit Language/NSFW or younglings)

Our hosts happily return to the studio after a week away and pay homage to educators as today is National Teachers Day.

They dip into the film world and discuss Lean on Me 1989) with Morgan Freeman, Stand and Deliver (1988) with Edward James Olmos and Dead Poet Society (1989) starring Robin Williams and acknowledge the importance of educators (of all kinds).

The new official trailer for Blade Runner: 2049 (2017) was released recently and we sat back to watch it (as Sean had not seen it yet) and speculate it's potential for pleasing the audiences.

The boys kick around a new idea for the next upcoming Movie Roulette and are slated to return to the studio next week to record.

We can be found in the "Search" areas in your podcast apps such as iTunes, GooglePlay, Stitcher and TuneIn if you want to subscribe to the show OR you can drop us a note and follow us on Twitter. Our handle is @stone_turntable.
